Who are we?

TKM is family owned and operated with over 50 years of combined experience in shade products. The owner, Tim, started over 19 years ago with his still flourishing company, ShadeWorks LLC. ShadeWorks is an award-winning, shade-solution specialist handling the greater Nashville area.

At one time or another his whole family has been involved in the shade business, and now has his wife and two sons full time with him running the business in addition to other talented employees.

Tim Kolp has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s in business, and an endless drive to constantly improve. He has over two decades experience in manufacturing and has been searching for the right product to manufacture for years. When he met Hal Thorman, creator and owner of Sundance LR, it was a match meant to be. Since that time, Tim has been working closely with Sundance LR on design improvements to make the best louvered pergola on the market. Couple that with multiple regional manufacturing and low overhead, TKM offers a top of the line louvered roof product at an extremely competitive pricing.
